OLD FOLKS HOME

The 1st work in the series, “Old folks home” resembles a
chair you might find in a grandparent’s home, broken into
pieces and reassembled with black zip ties.
The piece questions our relationship with traditions: are
they valuable relics worth preserving, or do they anchor
us to the past and hinder progress? By making the breaks
impossible to ignore, it questions whether holding onto
old values helps us navigate the present or simply weighs
us down.
